📖 A Tiny Dog With a Giant Story
In her long little body, Bailey packed in more life and drama than anyone could expect:
- She once went missing overnight and was found shopping in a Costco cart with someone who had taken her in.
- She was rammed by a wild mini poodle and hurt her shoulder.
- She was kidnapped once — and got herself back.
- She picked up a strange infection from swimming in a lake.
- She battled pneumonia and spent nights in an O₂ cage.
- She developed heart, kidney, and other issues that would have stopped a less stubborn soul.
And through all of it, she came back with the same wiggle butt, the same stubborn joy, the same deep love. Bailey was tiny. Bailey was ridiculous. Bailey was unbelievably tough.

Bailey loved deeply, enthusiastically, and often hilariously:

- Throwing up from her birthday steak (zero regrets)

- Goose poop – lovingly known as the "vending machines"

That was all it took. Brian asked to meet her. She came out, played for a brief while, got tired, then climbed into his lap, looked up at him, and let out what could only be described as an old Jewish guy sigh. She put her head down and fell asleep. Brian looked up and said: "This is my dog."
From that moment on, Bailey Entropy Markowitz wasn't a "little hotdog" in the corner of a cage. She was family.

Bay, I got to be your mom for almost 9 years, and it wasn’t nearly enough time. From the first moment I met you and Brian, I knew you and I were meant to be together. You licked my ankles, jumped for joy, and reminded me what it was to experience pure happiness. All the years of snuggles, laundry stealing, treat mooching, and face licking have been some of the best times of my life. You will forever be my baby, and I love you and miss you terribly.

Bay, you’ve been my little shadow for almost 16 years. You were always there when I needed you.
You’ve fought through more than any little dog should ever have to endure. Pneumonia, infections, heart and kidney problems — you faced them all with stubborn courage, wiggle butt, and love.
You made my life better every single day. From hikes and mud-rolls to quiet nights and old-Jewish-man sighs, you filled our home with a kind of joy that can’t be described, only felt.
You are simply the best little dog anyone could ever hope for. I love you with all my heart, and I will miss you forever.
